I decided when I had extra time I would make them blocks and I did make one. It looked like ti was going together well. I cut and sewed carefully. Pressed with best press because of the bias edges and it still pouched in the middle...and it's the wrong size by about 1/2" (and it's only block number one). Back into the box it went. I'm impressed with your perseverance. The fabric you picked looks great..and great job on the blocks you've finished. Yay you!Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04448140339937741394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6418888800522073558.post-63435456020521988682012-03-16T22:18:16.935-04:002012-03-16T22:18:16.935-04:00What a beautiful quilt. I seldom purchase BOM's because I encountered 'too short' fabrics too many times (and I seldom even do them). I usually wait until someone else has made the block, then see what problems they encountered before I try the block myself.Cheryl's Teapots2Quiltinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01005480747596617459noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6418888800522073558.post-87788884690068322392012-03-15T02:23:50.984-04:002012-03-15T02:23:50.984-04:00Your choice looks good to me. I think your replacement fabric is a great choice. No one will be the wiser! You are getting so close to a finish on this. What an accomplishment that will be!Janet O.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05083607398709252597noreply@blogger.com
