Blues Make Me Happy!!!

I was delighted when Angela announced that Sapphire Blues will be the May color for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!  Blue has always been my favorite color, and I especially love the deep, rich yumminess of sapphire!

I decided to start with the Fantasia block this month......


Doesn't that color just jump out there and grab your attention?
I love it!!!

My blue scrap bin was overflowing with yummy scraps, and I had a ball yesterday playing with them.  After pulling out all the aqua/teal scraps to save for another month, this is what I had left in my basket to work with this month.....


The lights will come out to play with I start making the Hatchett blocks and HST's.  My next block to play with however will be the Lone Starburst sections using these selections....

    C Love your block. It it very tempting to start the Rainbow challenge when I see what beautiful blocks you are doing -- but I'd be such a bad girl if I did! You have lots of luscious blues in your box.
