This is what is happening at our house this morning!
I just saw on The Weather Channel about traffic backed up on I-65 in Kentucky - one woman has been stuck in her car for 14 hours!!!! I am definitely praying for these unfortunate people this morning.
I'm also dealing with a sore throat/stuffy nose event - yuk! I brought it home from my retreat last week and it's been beating me up all week. Of course, that hasn't kept me from sewing LOL!!! I'll be posting a few finishes very, very soon, so stay tuned! :*)
Praying you are all staying warm and safe ♥♥♥
Hugs & Blessings!
Teresa
=^..^=
I think the East is getting its own winter, plus the West's missing winter!
ReplyDeleteSorry you are "under the weather" in more ways than one! (Couldn't resist)
Look forward to seeing your finishes!
I too love a good snow ... and agree: one per winter is enough. Praying that this is winter's last hurrah for you all.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear that you're not feel your best ... I too am under the weather, although I too am able to keep stitching, thankfully. I can't wait to see your finishes (I'm working on mine!).
I agree. one nice round of snow and have it gone in a day or so is great enough... so far we've gotten it twice in my area here in Tx. something we are not use to as well.. ready for some not HOT sunshine.
ReplyDeleteIt has been a brutal winter here and we are starting to get cabin fever :(
ReplyDeleteQuilting is the only cure!
Take care of your health. Here in Montreal, Canada we have had several water main breaks due to the frigid temperatures, which has resulted in flooding and ice. You have a lovely blog.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon. Looks like you are enjoying some stitching as you recover. Stay in and snuggle with some quilts as that snow falls.
ReplyDeleteOh my... that is an event for you! We all got it this time. Ugh I am so tired of this. I don't want to hear anyone complain about the heat around here this summer! LOL
ReplyDeleteWow, more snow for you? It's been such a strange winter. We've usually been skiing at least 20 times, and we've only been three times because of the lack of snow here in Idaho. I hope that you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteMy sentiments exactly! Very unusual for us here in Arkansas also. Enough already. I took down my paper cut snowflakes from the window since we have the real stuff outside. Maybe I should draw a sun and put it in the window instead! Started my spring cleaning today, maybe that will do it along with the time change this weekend!
ReplyDeleteThe Memphis area was pounded again, too . . . and my daffodils are ready to open at the first bit of warmth. SO odd to look and see the hints of yellow peeking through the snow! Take care and feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteTeresa, I hope you get to feeling better!! Janet O. already took my funny, so just get better soon!!
ReplyDeleteTexas hasn't escaped winter's wrath this year, either. Stay warm, stay safe, and stay sweet!
ReplyDeleteOh brrr. I wish I could share some of our heat with you. Sorry to hear that you've caught the crud too. Cold and sick is not fun! Feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI hear you, girl. We got some of that white stuff at my house too, but we were lucky that we missed the big, deep inches. We are scheduled for some Spring weather this weekend. Hope you are feeling better real soon. Can't wait to hear all about your retreat.
ReplyDeleteI think we are all sick of winter. The white stuff, the bitter cold. I agree I am done. Feel better.
ReplyDeleteI am sure your blog title has been used allot this winter. Allot Quilts and Allot of Prayers! Hope you feel better
ReplyDeleteHaha! Loved Helen's comment about quilts and prayers this winter! Y'all look like you've taken the brunt of the storms that came through Wednesday/Thursday. We're just still covered in a glaze of ice. *sigh* I love winter and snow, but I really am ready for some Spring! :)
ReplyDeleteI love your notions bag. It makes me want to dig thru it and see all the great notions inside. Feel better soon. I'm hoping that the snow (from early Feb) will start to melt this weekend, since we will finally be getting above freezing for several days.
ReplyDeleteWell, if those beautiful projects aren't enough to curb your winter blues, then........I am afraid.........nothing will! Keep your eyes on these and you are sure to start feeling better in no time. Oh, hold please.......someone is at the door.........IT IS SPRINGTIME COME KNOCKIN'!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt does look cold! It's quite nice in the UK at the moment, lots of daffodils showing their faces! Your projects look great, lovely co.ours. Take care!
ReplyDeleteHope the snow is all gone and you're feeling much better now! Hugs.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't get any snow in our area of Texas, but we did get the winter blues.....today is bright and shiny and I'm actually getting excited for Spring. Normally I only like fall.

ReplyDeleteYou've inspired me!!! Bless you and your efforts;)
ReplyDeleteSorry you aren't feeling well. I'm pretty sure some nice spring weather would cure you!!
ReplyDeleteYep, it's been quite a winter! I'm hoping that Tuesday brings the month exiting "like a lamb"! ;) Pretty projects underway at your house...
