Welcome to A Quilt and A Prayer!
Today is the day for Quilting Gallery's Blog Hop with Giveaways - WhooHoo!!!
So how would you like to win this? ......
This is a very fun book, simple and easy to understand. And isn't that what Alex Anderson is known for? You know you can't go wrong when she's the teacher. What's even nicer is that it is designed to help you play with those Jelly Rolls and Bali Pops you've had stashed for way too long. I'm not naming any names, but .... You know who you are!!!
Along with the book, I am including twenty-one 2-1/2" strips from my strip stash for you to play with! These are a mixture of some batiks I had left over from a Bali Pop, some are soft botanicals, and some just seemed to go with the mix :*D YUM!!!
Bear in mind that these are not all full WOF strips - maybe half of them are strips from fat quarters and so only 20" or so long.
Here are the 3 quilts featured in the book, with several variations given of each one.

| I LOVE this quilt!!! I will be making one of these ASAP! (Yes, I got one of the books for me too :*)) |
 |
| What a great quilt to use up your scraps from a project! You know, you've got 1/4 yard piece of this and 1/2 yard piece of that left over .... What to do with those pieces? They're too beautiful to toss or just mix in with your scraps... Make this quilt!!! |
 |
| Who doesn't love a beautiful heart quilt? And this one is really different... I really LOVE the pieced background! |
1st chance - Leave a comment telling me if you have a Jelly Roll or Bali Pop sitting in your stash waiting for a great idea to use it. If you've never bought a JR or BP, now's the time!!!
2nd chance - If you are a follower or sign up to be a new follower, LEAVE A SECOND COMMENT telling me that you follow and how you follow.
PLEASE make sure you are not a no-reply blogger! If I can't reach you, you can't win!!!
This giveaway will be open for comments for one week, closing at midnight CST on March 15.
I will ship anywhere, so don't be shy!
If you're new to this blog, I hope you'll stay a while and check out some of my recent posts as well as the tabs at the top. I'm having a lot of fun this year! I've committed to finish up at least 6 UFO's - one is already done! I've joined the NewFO Challenge, starting a fun new project each month -guilt free - whoohoo! And the Rainbow Scrap Challenge is such a great opportunity to make beautiful things out of my scraps. I've also picked up the knitting needles and crochet hooks after years of not doing either - it's a new adventure!!!
Thanks so much for visiting - I've enjoyed your company!
Now, it's time to head on over to Quilting Gallery to find the next blog on the tour!
Good luck and enjoy!!!!
Hugs & Blessings!
