Since I only completed 4 of my 10 Finish-Along projects listed last quarter, I am really motivated to do better this quarter! I'll keep the 6 remaining Q1 unfinished projects on my list to finish up in Q2, and then add a few more that I believe I can get done....
#7 Make 2 Bionic Gear Bags -
I made my first Bionic Gear Bag in early February so I could have it ready for retreats at Sewanee and Mountain Quiltfest. It worked perfectly! I had everything I needed right at hand and easy to access. When I was done, zip it up and pop it in my machine case!
As you can see, this bag holds a ton!!! I'll do a separate post soon to show you more about this amazing tool :*)
#8 Finish knitting my Raspberry Smooshy Socks - see more detail about these HERE if you are interested :)
#9 - Bind Blue Noel -
That's it for new items on the list. Here is a simple re-listing of the projects left over from last quarter. You can read more about them in my Q1 post HERE if you like.
1. Finish quilting and bind Montego Bay
2. Quilt and bind Whooooooo's Your Daddy?
3. Complete 5 Bertie's Year wall quilts
4. Quilt and bind Amish Beauties
5. Complete Shark Pencil Case
6. Complete Peacock See-N-Go Bag
I think that will keep me busy and out of trouble for the next couple of months, don't you think? Well, hopefully anyway LOL!!! Are you joining in on the challenge? There are some AMAZING prizes!!!! Just sayin' :*)
Hugs & Blessings!
Teresa
=^..^=
Look at you go. Four finishes are more than I do in a year! Great job.
ReplyDeleteThe bionic gear bag looks pretty amazing.
ReplyDeleteMaking a list like that would be wishful thinking on my part. : )
I wish you well with your finishes!
Your bionic gear bag looks great, Teresa. Love the fabrics that you've used. Here in Australia, so many Aussie bloggers have been making the 'sew together' bags and I keep saying that I must make one too...maybe this year sometime? Or maybe the bionic gear bag? Lol
ReplyDeleteI seem to never get ahead. My stash is running my life but it is fun. I thought I had started my last quilt from my scrappy leftovers after years of sewing but Friday I came up with another one.
ReplyDeleteTeresa, you really have your work cut out for you! BUT I know you can DO IT! I love your bionic bag. Now that is one cool bag that I would love to tackle and could really use to help me stay organized, but that would be a new UFO for sure, and I now have 75 UFO's listed as of Jan. 2015.!! lol I love starting things, but seem to run out of time and steam to get them all finished. Trying to be good and not start new things. So far it's sorta working.
ReplyDeleteI need 48 hours to a day. lol
Teresa I love your Bionic Gear Bag! Do you have a pattern for it? blessings, marlene
ReplyDeleteThat bag is unbelievable! Good luck with your list! Happy Easter! xo
ReplyDeleteTeresa, I have been visiting and seeing your beautiful work... but wasn't able to comment, until now! I hope this works....
ReplyDeleteCongrats on all your finishes.
I hope you have been well. Happy Quilting.
Blue Noel is gorgeous ! I so want to make a tree block or quilt!
ReplyDeleteLove the Bionic gear bag. Where can I get the pattern? Is it your pattern?
ReplyDeleteI always love seeing your projects. There is never anything that I don't flat out adore. That bionic gear bag is amazing! I wish I could get myself to make one. Bags totally intimidate me!! :)
ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful projects! Didn't you start "Eldon" by Edyta Sitar? Or did you already finish that one?
ReplyDeleteThat is a HUGE list!!! I'll say a big congrats for finishing as many as you did last quarter!!!
